2. Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.

3. Pull and prepare the orders for PPD.

Independently set up and run all machines and plates, including but limited

to: Automatic Press, Heidelberg Braille Press, and Hand Press.

 

Maintain productivity levels defined for each machine for which
certification is obtained.

 

Check quality. Report and reduce excess scrap.

 

Perform punching, numbering, folding and cutting of plates for Braille
magazines and books.

 

Work overtime as required by supervisor to meet production demands and
deadlines.

 

Learn Braille numbering system.

 

Run Thermo Form and oversee production

Responsible for braillo 440 SW operation, braille scanning and comparison
process and coordinating team to meet production schedule.  Duties will vary
according to production demands.

standards set by the Production Coordinator; supports work activities of
individuals with the guidance of the Vocational Habilitation Coordinator and
performs physical labor associated with production. 

 

Assists in maintaining the appearance and safety of the work environment,
equipment and materials. 

 

Supervises and assists individuals served during breaks, lunches, with
transportation needs and provides other assistance as needed.

 

Act as an advocate for the consumer when interacting with co-workers and
supervisors while providing daily coordination of the vocational aspect of
individual written plans.

 

Develops and maintains positive relationships with consumers served;
maintains positive relationships with the business partners, residential
