Eric,
I would like to submit 2 ideas for our state covention;
Introductory Workshops on Domestic Violence and Charles Bonnett Syndrome
Recently one of our chapter members, Rosa Jones, co-facillitated a 6 week
seminar on Charles Bonnett Syndrome, what it is, why it is difficult to
diagnose, and suggestions on how to live with it. This was recieved very
well and it may be helpful to others. I know Rosa could provide you with
additional details.
Domestic Violence is so prevelent and even more so in the blind community,
what it is and how it effects people, and having a saftey plan is really
crucial. I volunteer with the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center
and would more than happy to assist with planning something surrounding this
subject.
Blessings,
Cheryl Fields
