Here is a program that we should tell parents of blind kids about. Please
pass this information along to those who might benefit.

Subject: A New Seedlings Program for you: Adopt-a-Reader!
Introducing Seedlings' Adopt-A-Reader Program
from Seedlings Braille Books for Children
Enroll your VI child in our new free program!
We believe that in order for children to be life-long readers, they need to
be surrounded with wonderful books. Our mission at Seedlings is to increase
the opportunity for literacy, so . we've started a new program called
Adopt-A-Reader to help put more books into the hands of children who are
visually impaired. It has been a big success in Michigan, so now we're
opening the program to a few of our families in Ohio. We'd love for you to
be a part of it! Please respond as soon as possible!
Once you have enrolled in the program, we will match your child with a book
donor. Then a $100 gift certificate will be sent to your family so that you
can obtain some wonderful new braille books of your choice from Seedlings!
We want to be a part of helping your child on their road to literacy and
beyond. It's easy (& free) to be a part of the program. All we need is a
completed form (see attached) and your child's picture so our donors can
learn a little about their "adopted reader." That's it!
Please contact us if you need additional information.
