Fellow Ohio Federationists,
I was so excited when, a few months back, I was invited to speak at this
fabulous conference.  I didn't say much to anyone because the attendance was
somewha restricted.  Now that I see that the agenda is being Circulated and
the proceeding to be streamed, I thought you all might be interested to know
I'm on the program.  I believe my panel is at 3:15 to
4:15 Wednesday, June 19.

The NLS Braille Summit will take place June 19-21 at Perkins School for the
Blind in Watertown, Massachusetts. We have had a strong level of interest,
and this conference promises to be an informative and thought-provoking
event.

For those not able to attend, there will be a number of ways to participate
through social media and more traditional channels.

The audio and video of the panel presentations will be streamed over the
Internet. The web address for the live stream will be
www.perkins.org/braillesummit. The conference will be streamed during the
following hours:

Wednesday, June 19, 2013
1:00-3:00 p.m.
3:15-4:15 p.m.
Thursday, June 20, 2013
8:30-9:45 a.m.
11:10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
2:45-4:10 p.m.
Friday, June 21, 2013
8:30-10:00 a.m.
2:45-4:30 p.m.
The conference e-mail address is
braillesummit at gmail.com. This address will be monitored before and during
the conference. 
Questions and comments received through this means will be incorporated into
the discussion as time permits.

Social media for this event will be handled primarily through Twitter.
