[Ohio-talk] Future Metroparks Programs

Hello Friends,

The Rocky River nature hike is during national convention, and I'm sorry I didn't get a better date.  It promises to be educational and fun, however.  I am planning other activities before the summer is out which include a canoe or paddle boat trip.  It depends on how many people sign up.  In August, some of us will be doing another nature hike, where a naturalist will conduct a "birding by ear" educational program, similar to that for July.  I am planning some activities in the winter--snowshoeing, for example.  This is all contingent upon whether I can get enough people to participate.  At least ten are required.  

Keep reading this list, and I will share some more details as these activities come to fruition.

These activities are not just social in nature, but a chance to get to know each other in a nonstructured and light-hearted way.  It's also a chance to show the public that we are blind people on the move, independent and fun-loving.
