[Ohio-talk] FW: Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

Hi, Suzanne,

I'm a very happy dropbox user; I'll send you an invitation so you'll get a link you can click on and the site will walk you through. It's quite accessible and the free version has served me well enough. I have dropbox installed on my home and on my office computer, and I no longer mess around with emailing myself files or dropping files onto thumb drives and trying to keep track of which one is the most updated version. You will LOVE this.

For what it's worth, you should always ask another dropbox member to invite you to join: that way everybody gets a little more free space awarded by the site. This is seriously useful stuff! And again, the free version is perfectly satisfactory.

Sheri

Suzanne,
Both are sites where you can upload files for other to download. I have downloaded many times from each of these, but sadly, have never uploaded, so not sure how to do it. There are free accounts and ones that cost a little money for more storage space.
Go to www.dropbox.com or www.sendspace.com I'm sure that you can find more techie people who are more educated than I on these kinds of operations!
It's a very coool way of sharing large files, which recordings often are.
Deborah

Hi Debra, thank you very much for your response and that the program sounds very good.
I'm not exactly sure what drop box or send space is can you give some details. Please! Suzanne
