NFB Family,

The Taylor and Turner family thanks you all for the kind words and prayers that have been bestowed upon us.

My sister, Yvonne Taylor lost her battle with heart disease on May 3, 2013 at 2:00 A.M. She was a wonderful role model for women with visual impairment. Her life was fulfilled with meaningful purpose, diligence and humility. Yvonne was a gentle and loving soul to all to whom she came in contact with. During her last days, she needed a heart transplant. However, her wonderful personality never wavered or faltered during her difficult days. We take delight in the fact that she no longer is in pain and suffering. It is very hard to let go, but a pleasure to know that she is in a better place.

I wanted my NFB Family to know a little about my sister. She exhibited the mission of the NFB " changing what it means to be blind". Indeed she did!!

Again thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts for me and my family. My prayers go out to you all who also suffered a loss. It is not easy, but the memories are the best!

Suzanne
