[Ohio-talk] School for the Blind in Panai

Hello Everyone,
For those of you who are interested in our project to help children in a Rural School with the Blind in the Philippines I just wanted to let you know of current status.
The school is on one of the islands with severe devastation. We do not know details at this time.
We know that the Sisters of Notre Dame in Baton cannot be reached. The Superior General of the Sisters of Notre Dame in Rome does not know if the Sisters are all right.
Sister Linda Maria's equipment has not arrived in Baton. Two barges carrying cargo from the US colided recently about the time her shipment should have arrived.
Sister Linda Maria is in the hospital in Manila with very High Blood Pressure. I should say at least we think she is in Manila. We know she is in the hospital.
Please continue to collect equipment such as slates and styluses. I will advise those who are interested of the exact things the school needs.
Right now I am sure prayers would be appreciated.
Some of these blind children may end up being orphans.
We are hoping to have more information once communications get back to normal.
