8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Hourly Rate: $16.08
Monday - Friday

REQUIREMENTS: Associate's Degree (preferably in behavioral science) OR equivalency (at least 94 quarter credit
hours OR equivalent semester/trimester hours), with at least one three (3) hour course in each of the following: Social
welfare, interviewing, case management, basic mathematics, public relations, communications, AND nine (9) hours in
English which must include grammar, writing skills and composition; OR Associate's Degree in any field OR equivalent
of an Associate's Degree (as defined above), PLUS two (2) years experience in public contact work involving
interviewing and collecting, organizing, analyzing and interpreting complex data; demonstrable strong oral and written
communication and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Interviews and determines eligibility for multiple programs; follows program guidelines; collects
and enters data, computes budgets; verifies eligibility documentation. Prepares and scans documents to the case files
including changes affecting eligibility; notifies participants of any changes in assistance or services. Prepares routine
correspondence; case summaries and reports. Attends State hearings upon request. Refers cases of suspected fraud
and/or referrals of overpayment. Explains services available to individuals and families to enhance the quality of life
and/or meet their self-sufficiency needs, and provides referrals to other health and human service providers. Provides
outreach to potentially eligible Food Assistance/Medicaid individuals. Attends training, meetings, and information
sharing sessions. Performs other related duties as assigned. Some weekends and evenings may be required.
