Thank you  but not possible at this time  my hubby had a stroke  and he
needs everyones prayers I have ben blind  for about seven years I think  and
I think any one who cares enough to help make a difference a persons life
to help them learn to be independent  and to help them learn about what it
is like to be blind  is doing a good thing  God bless your church and all of
the n f b  I just don't like the drama sometimes  love one another  and we
must stick together  I really never began to really see  until  I went blind
don't know if you all know what I am talking about  but now I  can really
see  and it is good I love life  and I  love all of you  dawn

Wanda  I think this event  sounds very nice   and if it helps  people  get
to conventions and other things  that they need to do  to help them learn
about  blindness and their independence   I think this is wonderful  and it
sounds real yummy  something like this  I would like too attend if I wasn't
so far ay  perhaps  sometime soon  we could  do something like this in or
near Toledo  everyone have a great day Dawn

This event is not a fundraiser for the Miami Valley Chapter of the National
Federation of the Blind    .
The chapter  has made  no such decision to be involved  with this event  in
any  way          We cannot sign off on such.This poast forces me to speak
on behalf of the chapter because I am the chapter president.  I know the
event seems to state that the money will help members attend the state
convention. Before the chapter wil get involved we must speak about it in a
meeting and that did not happen.

Dear NFB Chapter Members:

 You  are  invited to attend a Spaghetti dinner called Hallo-Sketti Benefit.
This event is a fundraiser for the Miami Valley Chapter of the National
Federation of the Blind and the Diabetic Action Network of the NFB of OH.
The funds of this event will assist some of the organizations blind with
travel expenses and, workshop and conferences for additional training for
the blind and visually impaired.
The benefit is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in
Dayton, OH., In Flannigan Hall, 3317 Hoover Avenue, at the Wayman Chapel A.
M. E. Church.
The time will be from 12 Noon to 5 p.m.   If you or your chapter can attend,
please join in the fun by wearing your favorite Halloween attire.  There
will be prizes given for the best costume for those choosing to participate
in this fun event.
If any of your members are interested in eating a scrumptious Spaghetti or
Lasagna Dinner, a $5.00 will be requested at the door.
