If you ask that question some will tell you to only use 1 service. The problem is that we have not been taking advantages of the many services that the job centers can provide. the contacts that they have for jobs seems to be greater than rehab. I am not advocating not to use rehab but the ability to get a job quickly sometimes is what we need. This very subject brings up the ability for a person who is blind to receive services in the local job centers like many others are able to take advantage of. The ticket to work and the reimbursement that rehab gets for each case may be the thing that is a question. I think that you should use anything and all services available to get a job. Richard

Are we allowed to make use of these Ohio Means centers even if we are already working with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities?
Thanks for this info Suzanne!

Cheryl,
The state of Ohio has made a uniformed decision to make all job services under one umbrella with one name. The employment/employment connection down on 1020 Bolivar St., is now known as Ohio means Cuyahoga county. So, everyone should understand that Ohio means is the name and it's county where individuals Leo is what the job service centers are now called. They are to assist persons with disabilities as well as the general public. I had no problem today with assistance. However, as I indicated earlier, I will work with my job coach on Friday.
Please forgive my iPhone if words are misspelled. My desktop is not set up as of yet. I'm speaking to my phone and it has a brain of its own. LOL!
