In listening  to the discussion  today on the radio,  this is aimed  more toward students  who are moving  in to Ohio to attend  universities  & colleges. They would  be required  to register  their cars in Ohio & obtain An Ohio driver's  license, similar  to what  occurs when you move to another  state. The driver's  license  from another  state  would  be surrendered and replaced  with one from Ohio, as the person  would be residing  here for a minimum  of 4 yrs, depending  upon their  educational  goals. Many students  are here from other states for quite a few years. There are likely  advantages & disadvantages to students  depending  on how you look at it. One student  said that many of them are deciding  whether  to stay in Ohio & what the job opportunities  are anyway, so it is just a step in that direction.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you zwant; blindness is not what holds you back.
