Dave, someone can probably answer this better than I can since I never
use 8 dot braille.  I believe it can be a way to save space since you
can put the capital sign in dots 7 and 8.  You may be able to use
those dots to indicate other things.  The amazing thing to me was that
we could purchase a full legal copy of JAWS for $75.00.  That is so
awesome it could come close to paying for the trip to Orelando.
Again, you don't have to use 8 dot braille.
