National Federation of the Blind of Ohio Buckeye Update

Twas the week before the Board meeting and all through the affiliate Richard could be heard saying, "Duffy where's the agenda" I want my agenda."

One week from today the Board of Directors and all who care to join us will meet at the North Community Lutheran Church 114 Morse Road in Columbus. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM. We hope you will join us. As is always the case, if you are a member of the board I am counting on your participation unless I hear from you saying that you are unable to attend. 

We will be ordering lunch from Wendy's. Shelbi and I have tried to come up with another option, but this is the option that gives the greatest variety of choices. Please get your lunch order to Shelbi by 9:00 AM. Thursday, September 24. The best way to place your order is to send Shelbi an email shelbiah1 at gmail.com <mailto:shelbiah1 at gmail.com>

We are asking that you plan to pay $10 for your lunch,  if you can,  realizing that part of that will most likely be a contribution to the affiliate. If you are unable to do that, you are expected to cover the cost of your lunch. 
If you have material for the newsletter, please get it to Barbara as soon as possible. This is a good time to let everyone know what your chapter will be doing for meet the blind month, or what you will be selling at the convention as well as anything else you want us to know about past or future activities. I know Miami Valley has a few things to report.

I am looking forward to the board meeting next week. Please be there to learn what is happening in the affiliate now and in the future. I look forward to seeing you then.
