Sr. Project Manager - (1600096)
Description
Reports to: L. Adams
Salary Grade: 58 Exempt
Manage all aspects of complex projects in support of corporate, divisional
and/or departmental initiatives. Lead, facilitate and/or participate in
cross-functional project teams enterprise-wide. Present findings to senior
management and/or within committees, and collaborate with both internal and
external contacts to execute deliverables. Conduct miscellaneous cost,
utilization and performance analysis for the division.
Responsibilities
* Conducts initial and ongoing financial and statistical impact
analyses to draw conclusions and make recommendations on direction of
project goals. Compares findings to baselines, benchmarks and/or trend.
Compiles quantitative results into written presentation format. As
appropriate facilitates the completion of related contracts, statements of
work, corporate finance requests and purchasing orders with management,
Finance and Legal.
* Leads and/or participates in cross-functional, enterprise-wide
teams. Formulates detailed project plans that are agile and targeted to
meet multiple goals and objectives within timeline. Assesses and manages
risk to avert delays and overage. Facilitates team aspects including agenda,
roles and responsibilities, and reporting of accomplishments towards goal.
Assures collaboration with internal departments and/or external contacts.
Keeps management apprised of adverse events.
* Analyzes divisional metrics for costs, utilization and
performance. Computes and compares annual per member and per contract costs;
return on investment; and department case/review activity. As needed,
supports quantitative analysis of staff productivity for clinical care.
* Supports clinical compliance and training. Assumes responsibility
for certain aspects of accreditation standards. Compares standard against
documented process, report and/or materials, and initiates change to assure
maximization of scored points. Supports facilitation of the Company's
College Associate program to train on accreditation and on project
management.
Qualifications
* Master's Degree Preferred in business, public health, nursing,
analytics or related field.
. Bachelor's Degree required
. Three years of experience as an analyst in care management, managed
care or equivalent experience in the health insurance and/or healthcare
industry. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
Access and PowerPoint,
. Advanced skills in conducting financial and statistical analyses, and
applying to business practices
. Knowledge of pharmacy and care management processes in the health
insurance industry.
. Ability to reference both paper-based and online resources to conduct
literature research
. PMP Certification preferred
