Interested applicants for assistance should remember that the board voted on April 16 to divide the total amount for convention assistance among those who apply. You will not get any more than that total amount of cash. This looks like last year’s form, which was constructed in a different way. Just remember that there is a ceiling on the amount of assistance you can receive this year.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
