Thank you for the warm welcome and kind words. My family and I are excited and looking forward to being active members in the national Federation of the blind of Ohio. To those who I have known from before my departure to law school I look forward to reestablishing past friendships and those who I have not yet met I look forward to working with each and everyone of you.

I have known Mike since his days at the Ohio State school for the Blind.

Mike was a leader as a student  there, and he has experienced a great deal of personal growth since then.

He has been active in the Federation in the Virginia D.C., area. He is a national scholarship winner.

I am glad that he and his wife Heather, and their son Alex are active members of the Capital chapter.

I am sorry that this family and I are like passing ships in the night as I prepare to leave Ohio.

I have enjoyed the time I have spent with the Leitermans so far, and I can honestly say that Mike and his family are a blessing to this affiliate.

So Mike and family, welcome to the chapter, to the affiliate, and to Ohio-Talk.
