[Ohio-talk] Reading Minutes at Meetings

I feel it would be a good idea to present the minutes by email since nearly
all members have email and those who do not could be contacted by another
chapter member. I like the idea of freeing up time to focus on other
issue's which needs to be discussed by the chapter. We could always ask if
there are any questions regarding the minutes which have been sent out by
email. I think the Miami Valley chapter needs to move forward as technology
advances.

Because I'm a new member with new ideas and I think it's a waste of time
reading four pages of minutes out loud when the time can be used for other
business, and when people in any other organization would be responsible for
finding their own way to read them. As I said, however, it is a democratic
organization and if the membership overwhelmingly wants them read, then
that's how it shall be.

The Miami Valley chapter have always had our minutes ran by the secretary we
have it any problems we haven't had any problems with the situation so why
should it become one right now it should not be you are secretary, and we
appreciate our board members in our chapter so what is there going to be a
problem with you reading the minutes in our meeting
