Hello all. Here is a quick set of step-by-step set of instructions for
inviting your friends to the Cincinnati Chapter Facebook Page-for those of
you who are unaware of how to do this on a PC using either Internet Explorer
or Firefox.

1. Visit the NFB of Cincinnati Facebook page at
<http://tinyurl.com/zxrumxk> http://tinyurl.com/zxrumxk.

2. If using JAWS or another screen reader, activate the link that is
labeled "national Federation of the Blind of Cincinnati." I believe this is
a button in JAWS, not a link. This is equivalent to a sighted person
clicking on the cover photo with a mouse.

3. Several links will appear. One of them is "Invite friends."
Activate the link as usual.

4.       A dialog box will appear containing a list of all your friends;
this is just a series of checkboxes. Check the box for each friend you want
to invite. (This is just like any other accessible checkbox on a form on a
Webpage, where JAWS will identify the friend and tell you whether or not the
associated checkbox is checked or unchecked.).

5. After you've selected all the friends you want to invite, activate
the button that says "invite friends" in the usual way, which is by pressing
Enter if using JAWS. This is the same as submitting a form on a Webpage.

To perform the same action using the IOS App. Do a search for National
Federation of the Blind of Cincinnati. Once you find the page, double tap on
the link at the top labeled "national Federation of the Blind of
Cincinnati". This is our cover photo. A series of links will come up below
the cover photo; one should be labeled "invite friends." The process from
there is almost identical to using a Web Browser on a PC and very accessible
with VoiceOver. Note that you can only use this procedure once to invite
friends to a Facebook page.

That's it.

Very Best,

Chris
