Richard and Miami Valley,It was a pleasure to join your chapter meeting and share exciting things with your members, although we hadn't planned on putting ourselves on your agenda.  The Federation way is to share with our Federation family, fellowship, foster growth and share ideas, isn't it?  I love being able to personally spread the word about the exciting Fundraising opportunity we have with the Charity race 5K on June 26th in Columbus.  It is a wonderful way to build our presence in the sighted community, to network with other charities who may know blind persons who could benefit from the NFB and as a way to raise funds to provide assistance for more Ohio members to be able to attend our conventions in Orlando and Independence.  Marching for Independence is more than a 5K run/ walk.  It is a chance for members of the NFB to show their own independence by joining in, by getting sponsors if you cannot physically participate,by asking others to participate or to sponsor.  What are you willing to do?  Wouldn't it be great to be able to say that Ohio assisted a good number of it's members to be in Orlando this year?  Independence too? New members, old members, first time attendees, teens and families? he spoke about jobs and fitness and again it was great.

Carol talked about the  Charity race/walk in Columbus to be held in Columbus
on June 26th have you registered yet? She spoke about the warm feelings  in
our meetings and I let them know it was great having them.

Federation members I got 250.00 for marching to independence on the way to
Sherry challenge Mr. president lol
