The NFB of Ohio Membership Committee presents: Ohio Talks about Guide Dogs
at 7:30 pm on Thursday, June 23rd.
You are invited to join this call by dialing (605) 562-3140 then enter
access code 299457 followed by the # sign
This one hour interactive conference call is open to anyone interested in
getting more information about the use of guide dogs in our everyday lives.
If you are like me, curious about how guide dogs work and want to ask a
trusted resource then this is the right space for you.
Deanna Lewis, President of the Ohio Association of Guide Dog Users (OAGDU)
and NFBO Board Member, and a couple of additional OAGDU members will be on
the call to share their firsthand experience. Don't miss this chance to get
your questions answered in a safe, open, and welcoming environment.
The concept behind these bi-monthly conference calls is to better connect
our general membership to the divisions and services offered through the
NFB. Our plan is to hold bi-monthly public conference calls featuring
Ohioans across the state giving them a platform to promote and demystify
their group. We are ecstatic that the Guide Dog division will be the first
group we will feature. A sincere thank you goes out to Deanna and her team
for their willingness to take on this new challenge. I look forward to
learning from her team.
Please help me spread the word about this call.
Warmly,
Rachel R. Kuntz
