Thank you for responding Deanna. I am so excited that you are joining me in representing the NFB of Ohio at this event! The more representation we have, the more people will remember us in the future when we approach the public for support, donations, and to join us in future endeavors. I was thinking today about the various groups I have seen in recent 5K events and what an impression they make on the viewers along the route on the sidelines, and the media taking photos and doing interviews. When it is obvious that an organization has the support and presence of it's members and that they believe in the organization, it makes a lasting impact. When it is obvious that only a few people are supporting an organization, to the public, it does not leave a favorable impression, it is hard for the public to think seriously about supporting an organization that doesn't appear to support itself. I know these words are strong, but think about it, it is true. We need to turn out in numbers to show who the NFB is, not just a few people trying to make a difference or a presence. So hello Ohio, hello all my fellow NFB members, get up and do it. Register to join the few of us who have already signed up and are participating and let us make a difference. Let us March together, as Denver stated. Let us do it for Dr Jernigan, Dr Tem Broeke, Dr Mauer, and President Ricobono, moreover, let us do it for OHIO.Carol

 Hi Carol and all,
I will be there! My cane will not be a tappin' but my guide dog's paws
will be a clickin' as we walk this 5K! I'm very excited, as this is my
first 5K walk. I am trying to get a group of guide dog users together
to join us. And of course, Oagdu can hand out literature at the table.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Columbus!
