[Ohio-talk] {Spam?} Braille

I wanted to share something that occurred in our travels home yesterday. We stopped off exit 218/Medina at a McDonald's. It was noted quickly that the restroom signs did not include Braille to indicate whether they were Men or Women's. While we were placing orders, the manager apologized and said she was surprised about this but hadn't even realized it, as she showed their Braille menus to us. She called the owner as we waited for our order and then told us it would be taken care of and that the owner did not realize the Braille wasn't there. Yes, we should stop by on the way to convention and see if it has been addressed. Meanwhile, anyone else in the area could do the same. Sometimes it is an oversight when remodeling happens and signs are ordered, not acceptable, but it happens and we can politely educate establishments in making improvements. Carol
