[Ohio-talk] AT Family Conference

Hello Fellow Federationists,

Today our affiliate was represented at the AT Family Conference at the
Holiday Inn in Worthington, OH. We were personally invited to be an
exhibitor by Laurie Kaplan, who is the Parent Liaison from the Ohio State
School for the Blind. OSSB was a co-sponsor for this conference for
families, students and professionals who work with blind and visually
impaired students. There were technology presentations by vendors all day,
while the exhibitors were available for information and resources. We shared
NFB literature, the new Ohio Brochure and state convention announcement
cards. More importantly, we shared the message of the NFB. Hopefully, we
will see some new faces at convention. I would like to thank Mike, Heather
and Alex Leiterman, Michelle Wagner from OSSB and Rachel Kuntz for joining
me at this worthwhile event. This is how we build the Federation!
