Subject: [External] [Ohio-talk] HB 309 Parental Rights Bill: Hearing Announcement

Hello NFBO,

The fourth hearing for HB 309 is Wednesday December 13, 2017 at 3 PM in Room
114 at the Ohio State House. We have another opportunity to appear and/or submit proponent testimony. I have attached the bill to this email for you to read the language. If you are able to submit written testimony, you may do so by Tuesday evening, and send it to:

Adam Landefeld

Legislative Aide

Representative Anne Gonzales

Ohio House District 19

(614)466-4847

Adam.Landefeld at ohiohouse.gov

Adam will then forward the testimony to the Community and Family Advancement Committee. Even if you are going to appear in person, you still need to submit written testimony. Thank you very much.

Mike Leiterman wanted me to let you all know that he will be there, so please join him! Also, now that we have been there a couple of times and are getting more familiar with the building, if you enter through the State Street entrance, Room 114 is just down the hall to the right.

I would also like to thank Dave Perry for submitting written testimony to last week's hearing.

Best Regards,

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
