It is typical for politicians to give beat around the bush answers, instead
of being direct.  This is why I could never be a politician!  LOL.  I agree
with Ms. Devos that education issues should be handled by the states (as
should most issues) but I don't get what is so difficult to answer the
question about IDEA and federal funding.  Yes, any school that receives
federal funding should be required to follow federal policy, including IDEA.
If they don't want to abide by a federal policy, then they don't get the
funding.  Simple.
