Question I have been asking and I haven't gotten a reply. Is NFB Ohio or any of its chapters are planning on doing anything for next Wednesday's ADA Celebration?? I am putting this out but I have been working on more textural paintings and if possible I would like to put them up on display at the Cleveland Celebration? I know this maybe too late but it would only be 3 to 5 and I could try to get the easels. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!
Owen

Hello Ohio Federationists. I hope those of you who made it to Convention had
a wonderful time! I have an announcement and a question. I received a call
from the Director of Special Education at Tucson Unified Schools that
they've scheduled me to do an in-service on Optic Nerve Hypoplasia via Skype
in two weeks. Now for my question: in order for the District to compensate
me, I need to email them a completed IRS Form W-9. I realize this form is
available online in PDF from irs.gov, but is there a snowball's chance in
H*** that a version exists that can be completed using JAWS (either in a
Browser or using ADOBE PC)? I don't think the version on the IRS site is
editable, but I could be totally off base. Also-anyone who knows what is
going on in the AZ affiliate and if I could connect this family to a local
Chapter would be great. I realize basic contact information is available for
each Affiliate from the National site and the NFB app, but any info on
what's going on politically in the affiliate would be most appreciated. BTW-
the kid I'm working with there is a three-time National Braille Challenge
winner in AZ. He attended the Arizona School for the deaf and the Blind
until second grade, but is now transitioned into a gifted program at the
district.

Very Best,

Chris

I don?t know about the PDF forms except that you can print them out and fill them out and then scan the finished form back to the entity that wants it. That is usually what they expect us to do, and it is a pain.

About the AZ affiliate. Don Porterfield is the president, but I don?t have contact info for him. Bob Kresmer is the past president. He would still be a good contact. His home number is 520-733-5894, and his email is krezguy at cox.net.I <mailto:krezguy at cox.net.I> think he could and would put these  parents in touch with the right people.

Good luck,
Barbara

Thanks Barbara. Having a reader fill it out and just scanning it is what I'll likely have to do. However, I was hoping I could just get away with using an interactive version of the form in Adobe. I'll still explore this option when I get a chance. Thanks for the contact info about the AZ Affiliate.

Very Best,

Chris
