Hello Fellow Federationist!

The Cleveland has good news and not so good news to share. Well, let
us give you the not so good news first.
Our annual fund raiser, bus trip to Amish Country, scheduled for
Saturday June 24, is cancelled. Refund checks are being mailed this
week. Look forward to hearing from us in the future about other
opportunities to participate with the chapter.

Onward! Let’s get to the good news! On this past Saturday, members of
the Cleveland chapter made the first step in relationship building
with the City of Cleveland. Rob from the Mayor’s office explored
Public Square with us. This was a huge success, several mobility
barriers were identified, including traffic light concerns. Rob from
the Mayor’s office, was very attentive, noted suggestions and
recommendations, agreed to share with the other city departments, and
follow up with the nfb Cleveland! We are confident that many of our
suggestions will be effectively addressed. Stay tuned more to come
soon!

Thank you to a special group of Federationist for showing up, making
it happen and braving extremely high temperatures to make this event a
success! This is how we build the Federation!
Sarah Bishop, Natassha Ricks, Delcenia Brown, Wilbert Turner, Suzanne
and Danielle Turner, Larry Rodriguez, Mary Ponder and Cecil Dukes!

Everyone have a Terrific Tuesday!
