Hello,
Have you bought your Piggest Raffle tickets yet?
You can live high on the hog with a winning prize of $5000 for you and
another $5000 for the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio!
All you have to do is go to piggestraffle.com, follow the form, and the
prize could be yours!
Each ticket is $5.00, 100% of which goes to the affiliate!
You can't beat that!
You only have until May 5th before the pigs fly and the winner is drawn!
But why wait? Go and buy your tickets now!
And remember to name the NFB-Oh as your organization of choice, and your
chapter or division as the one selling you the ticket. Your chapter or
division will then get $1 of each ticket sold from the $5.00 going to the
affiliate.
Spread the word to your family and friends too!
What are you waiting for?
Go buy your tickets now!
Annette Lutz

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
?We need your service, right now, at this moment - our moment - in
history. I'm not going to tell you what your role should be; that's
for you to discover. But I am going to ask you to play your part; ask
you to stand up; ask you to put your foot firmly into the current of
history? ? Barack Obama

This is a late reminder but the next NFB Scrip Ohio order is due on Sunday,
April 2, 7:00 p.m. Remember to do you shopping for Easter. Maybe it is a new
spring outfit or just candy but whatever you wish for we can provide a gift
card that is certain to meet the need and then some if you just spend enough
money.
Again I'll remind everyone that although NFB Scrip Ohio is our only ongoing
program for fundraising we are holding other fundraisers at this time. You
can buy some chocolates which Melina will be happy to assist with and then
put them in an NFB tumbler that Rachel will help you purchase. You could
attach a gift card to either of these options. You could even purchase a
drawing pig in another person's name with the hope that should that person
win they will share the bounty.
Happy shopping,
Shelbi
