I want to commend those who showed up at the hearings. This was three days after our convention, when we all had plenty of things to do. This was not easy for them, and they had to sit around waiting for their time to testify, I know. We owe all four of these people our profound thanks. Tell us what we need to do next to carry this fight forward.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
