 Greetings Federation family, I hope this note finds each of you doing well. There are a great many of us doing works every day that improve the lives of the blind of Ohio. I’m excited to be part of this movement and wanted to send a special shout out to those individuals currently in Columbus attending house and senate appointments bringing attention to the legislative issues that are most valuable to us as blind citizens.
This is a daunting task as there are nearly 100 appointments that need to be scheduled. I understand there are 11 groups this year and wish each of you the most productive of meetings.
 As a number of these issues will come up for both debate and vote soon, it will be imperative that we as members of this great movement do our parts to reinforce the message being shared at the state house in Columbus today.

It takes a great deal to organize a day like this in my hats also go off to those leaders who took  their time to do the work necessary to make this event happen.
 

I’ll be very excited to learn about the results of this tremendous effort.
