[Ohio-talk] Disability Needs Survey

Greetings friends and colleagues, I hope this note finds all of you
preparing for a great weekend. I come to you with a request to complete a
Disability Needs Survey. Your time and input is very valuable to us. The
Ohio Statewide Independent Living Council (OSILC) is mandated by the
federal government to facilitate the development of the State Plan for
Independent Living. As part of this process, we are conducting a needs
assessment evaluating the barriers and challenges that limit Independent
Living for Ohioans with disabilities.



Data gathered through this survey, focus groups, public hearings, and
written feedback will be used to develop the Statewide Plan for Independent
Living (SPIL). The SPIL helps provide direction towards services and
resources to better help Ohioans with disabilities live in their
communities and reach their Independent Living goals.
