Subject: [Ohio-talk] Legislative action needed

Dear Fellow Federationists,

Our Ohio Blind Parents Bill of Rights house bill 309 has passed the senate judiciary committee. This bill has one major hurtle to make it over before the bill is signed into law, and that is getting HB-309 before the entire senate for a full vote.

Please take note, if we do not get HB-309 signed in to law before this session ends, we will be require to start from the very beginning when the next term starts. Thank you in advance for your help in getting HB-309 passed.

Our membership needs to have the President of the Ohio Senate Larry Obhof call for a full senate vote on house bill 309. We need our membership to make calls to Larry Obhof at the following number: (614) 466-7505<tel:(614)%20466-7505>

. Most likely you will be sent straight to voicemail, please leave a message stating who you are and that you are in favor of HB-309. Also, please indicate that you are requesting that HB-309 be sent to the floor for a full vote.

Best,

Michael Leiterman
