This is horrible news! I hope your road to recovery goes well this time!

Best Regards,
Sheri Albers, Vice President

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

Subject: [Ohio-talk] Prayers for Deborah Kendrick

Hello all. I received a text yesterday from Deborah Kendrick, immediate past
president of the Cincinnati Chapter. She was attending the Ski for Light
Conference in Reno Nevada. On Sunday, she fell down a flight of stairs and
broke her leg again. The break was in a different spot than the bone that
fractured earlier, but she is back to square one in terms of her ability to
walk. Before this latest accident, she was walking fairly well with a white
cane and support cane.

Deborah is currently hospitalized in Nevada and trying to get back to
Florida, where she has a home and where her medical team from her initial
treatment last year is based. She has asked me to ask for all of your
prayers.

Very Best Regards,

Chris
