Chris,

I have heard about the Business Enterprise Program, but first I want to pursue employment that I know I am more than qualified for, and I agree that my blindness should not be an issue.  I have some job leads I can apply for in the Cleveland area.

However, I need to move back in the Cleveland area, and I’m already in the process for applying for an apartment in Cleveland Heights that has a waiting list thanks to one of my friends at CSC (Cleveland Sight Center).

I am glad to hear that you are an independent individual who likes getting what he wants & needs, on his own.  I have one suggestion that I do NOT believe that I shared in the last exchange of email.  

Have you considered the Business Enterprise Program?  I cannot recall if I shared this with you in the last email.  It is a program that I am sure you know about. Given your independent lifestyle & your food service background, you may be a GREAT FIT for this program.  I am going to assume that you know about it & spare you my poor attempt at describing it.  

Don’t give up or give in.  You have a desire to do this & to be in this area of work, Don’t let anything or anyone talk you out of what you believe is your career of choice.  

Again, feel free to call on me, if you wish, at any time, for any help that I may be able to offer.  As a blind, former Contact / Business Call Center manager, I have a wealth of interviewing in my background.  I am glad to help, if I am able, in any way that I can.
