Hello NFBO, Yesterday I attended the meeting with the Cleveland chapter with Senator Skindell who serves on the judiciary committee and he understands our bills and will communicate that to other members. He did encourage us to continue to talk to others and get them to join us in stopping hb271 and to vote for hb 309. I was happy to know that he was very aware of this bill and not in favor of it. We asked several of you to meet with your  members of the Senet while they were on summer break I hope that is happening. Please let Sherri know about your progress and let?s do what we can to protect the rights of blind people in Ohio. Today Suzanne Mary Dale and I will be going to a meeting in Akron to hopefully reestablish leadership in that chapter. I would like to thank Dr. Peters and Cheryl for all the work they done to get the plans in place to assure that this chapter continues to strive. I will let you know the results.
