We now have 8 Braille students. Thankfully, we get 3 weeks off before our
next training in Toledo. We have some fabulous students who have a wide
variety of experiences. Each student has a mentor so the work is just
beginning. Even if you are not a mentor you can support students with your
thoughts and prayers. If you have a message you would like to pass on to
our Braille learners, please share it and we will pass it on. We would
especially love to hear from people who learned Braille as adults. This
will be encouragement when the students are frustrated and ready to give
up. This is one of the things NFB stands for and it takes everyone of us to
be successful. Thank you for your encouragement.
