Hello Richard,
I would like to lead the delegation to Washington Seminar.
I would like to chair the Legislative Committee. I think we have made great
strides, and I know we can do better. I am learning the ropes of how the
legislature works now and hope to get things moving on a more timely basis.
I propose the next Colubus Seminar to be held on April 9, 2019.
I would like to serve on the following committees: BELL Academy and
Convention Planning.
Thank you for your consideration.

This is a reminder that if you wish to serve on the 2019 state committees,
which you should be willing to serve on then send me an email letting me
know that.

You should also be aware that the deadline for submitting your request to go
to the Washington seminar is December first. I need to know so we can
reserve rooms. I wish you all a great holiday season.

I am pasting the 2018 committee appointments below.

I will be glad to answer questions if they are needed but not on the list.
Please feel free to email me directly especially if you are an member of the
board of directors. Please let me know which committees you would like to
serve on by December 01.

If you want to chair a committee let me know that as well. I will take that
under consideration.

Also you will not be put on the committee just because you desire. Just
because you were the chair previously or on a particular committee this
year that will not confirm your being on the new committee. If
you believe you should chair a committee let me know in detail why.

Do not assume anything. Right now this list is blank.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back
