I would imagine Jacobus TenBroek and the others wanted to use blind in its
most literal sense of definition of in seeing. The other tapdance terms
that people use of sightless and hard of seeing and partly visual I am sure
they considered dodging and sandbagging. Blind is blind. Accept it.
Embrace it. Joe considered it a nuisance and lived his life just like that
using a cane...
