[Ohio-talk] Job opportunity

In 1994, as a Parent Involvement Assistant for The Dayton Public School Head Start Division, my administrator was very unhappy because my job requirement wanted me to have a State of OH Driver's License. Of course I could drive and do my job very well. After losing my sight the administrator still wanted me to transport myself and others according to my employment requirement. She was not willing to meet the 5% for that concession.
I learned my job on the computer and provided volunteers to transport myself and other clients because there were 10 centers that I needed to service. As I said, I did my job and did it well.

It is Butler County. That is the county just north of Cincinnati.

Imagine, a blind person teaching a blind child! Who would have ever thought that was possible? Don't you know that is not possible since blind people are helpless and dependent.
