[Ohio-talk] December Diabetes Action Network revised minutes

December DAN Minutes for 2018

Only four members were on the call which was enough for a quorum.

 

Walter recorded the call because Wanda has an issue with the functioning of
her recorder.

Collene gave the treasurer's report and indicated that she and Sue will be
working with the bank to get changes made.

 

We discussed the lack of Diabetic education from the independent Mkt.  And
that something needs to be done about upgrading The current info so better
information can be distributed to the public.

 

Other issues that we discussed were:

1.       Membership building, possible committee

2.       Fundraising committee

3.       Generating funds to help our members attend conventions, diabetes
forums and health fairs

4.       Community outreach in regard to information about diabetes and the
support available  

5.       Wanda said that she would try to get another speaker for the Jan.
meeting.  

 

This meeting was short and ended in about 30 minutes.
