[Ohio-talk] Happy Birthday to the Rock

Over the years I have sent several emails with this very subject line on January 21.So it will come as no surprise to most people on this list that I am wishing Paul Dressell a happy birthday. 

The Rock seems to be a fitting name for him, because he let’s nothing stop him. Some things might slow him down a little, but nothing stops him. Those of you who know the challenges he has faced over the last several years know the truth of that. 

I called him the Rock before the challenges arose however, because he has always been someone I could count on since I’ve known him. Many times in our friendship I have turned to him for advice and guidance. I have also done some fact checking with him. Many times I have said Paul what day was it on a given date. I’ve only proven him wrong once. I finally had to tell him that I was there when my son was born, so I know what day it was.

Paul is a good friend and a solid Federationist. I haven’t called him the rock a lot, because I thought he might start calling Bernie Little Rock.
