I meant to write an email earlier this week thanking those who were on the hill advocating for the rights of blind Americans. I neglected to do so but I’d like to do so here. Those of us who have been to Washington seminar know the daunting task of scheduling the appointments, being on time for all the appointments, and all the other nuances that make this work though daunting at times so critical. I say a big thank you to those who spent their time, energy, and money helping to build the Federation in such a profound way. Those of us who didn’t go to Washington also play a critical role as it relates to this event. Our congressional members will need to hear from us also. So I would stay tuned for calls to action. We appreciate all of you, yes, even you Richard.
