Yes--exactly. I had another case this week where I had to abandon a job
application that I was helping my mom fill out in Chrome and fill it out in
Mozilla because the link to upload her resume wouldn't activate properly
with JAWS. I tried using both the virtual cursor and JAWS cursor and got
know where, but the same controls worked fine under Firefox. I'm just glad
VFO resolved that issue where we were stuck with the VSR release of Firefox
for something like six months because Mozilla broke accessibility in an
update.

Unfortunately, there are still some times when I have to use Firefox, too.
Chrome just stinks sometimes, despite the fact that it is much snappier than
Firefox, at least per my experience.

Richard. I finally did figure out how to activate the link to register. I
had to use the JAWS cursor under Firefox. This did not work under Chrome but
it did under Firefox. This is a type of link that doesn't always play nice
with JAWS, especially in Chrome which is my default browser. I also must
point out that the location for the Cincinnati event on June 27 deserves
some clarification. The address is listed as 1740 Langdon Farm Road but
there is no further information. The meeting is actually being held at the
plaza level of the Hamilton County Community Action Agency, which partners
with ODOT. There is a community public library that also shares the same
address as the whole complex is part of a property that is city / county
owned. The building where the meeting is located is evidently around a
circle and up a sidewalk. There is signage indicating the Hamilton County
CAA location, but unfortunately, I don't have any further information about
how a Blind person would find the entrance as the facilities were demolished
and rebuilt since I last traveled there independently. This is very
important to know for people attending the event and using paratransit to
get there. Just thought I'd let everybody know.

Hi Susanne. I've tried several times to register for this event on
Eventbright. Unfortunately, the link to register is a menu link which will
not activate with JAWS. What is the best way to register for this event
(i.e. Browser / screen reader combination)?

Thanks,

Chris

The Ohio Department of Transportation is in the process of developing its
Federal Fiscal Year 2020 through 2022 Triennial DBE Goals, which are
required by the Code of Federal Regulation 49, Part 26. Through this
process, ODOT is establishing two separate DBE goal methodologies - one for
contracts funded by Federal Highway and one for Federal Transit.
