Subject: Disability Etiquette and Awareness Training

Dear Dr. Smith and Dr. Peters,

To support Governor Mike DeWine's Executive Order 2019-03D, OOD is developing Disability Etiquette and Awareness Training for all State of Ohio employees. This training will provide guidelines for appropriate and respectful interactions with people with disabilities.  Our goal is to present this information through personal narrative which we feel will have a greater impact than simply a narrated script. We wanted to reach out to see if you would be interested in being interviewed for this training on camera. If you would like to participate, we could arrange for the video shoot to take place on April 10, the day of the next scheduled OOD Council meeting, either before or after the meeting, at our office. Please let me know if you would like to participate.
