[Ohio-Talk] Happy Birthday National Federation of the Blind

Hello Everyone,
It's hard to believe that Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania was the site of the first meeting of the National Federation of the Blind 79 years ago.
I wonder what Wilkes Barre was like in 1940 and what it's like in 2019.
My maternal grandparents were from Altoona, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania holds a special spot in my heart. Think what it was like to be one of those seven pioneers and what risks they took.
We must remember to work together and think before we voice our opinions. Let us help each other in the NFB.
