Dear Friends, Family and Members, Thank you so much for your support and admiration for my new appointment tothe Ohio Executive Board. My hope is to assist, serve, improve and elevatethe mission of the National Federation of the Blind. Although, I am thankfulfor the opportunity of this appointment; I can not in no way take the placeof Vice President, Sheri Albers. She has been invaluable and a greatresource advocating for the blind of Ohio and our members. Sheri willdefinitely be missed!  Even though, I have served from the National down to the local level, thisis new and I know information was missed along the way. Yet, I am stilllearning and will continue to do so. I do not know all of the answers, but Ihope I have learned enough to be quite helpful and productive. As I haveread and been told; it is the membership that drives the Executive Board.So, I am willing and ready for this awesome ride on the backs of philosophy,mission, transparency, accountability and prosperity; to change what itmeans to be blind.
