The clock is ticking. Time is running out. We need your written testimony for HB188 by October 31. You don’t have to be a blind parent to support this legislation. I know we are all busy getting ready for convention, but there is not much more you can possibly do that is more important than writing a few paragraphs in support of this bill and making sure your voice is heard. If you need help getting this done, please reach out to other busy people who are also getting ready for convention. Our legislative chair Sheri Albers will provide you with priceless information and assistance, if you just reach out to her. Barbara Pierce and I will do what we can to assist as well.
Something tells me that at some point during the convention we will be asked who provided written testimony in support of HB188. Be sure you can honestly answer yes. Here is the information Sheri provided earlier.
As you know, Rep.
Crawley is one of the primary sponsors for H. B. 188, our Parental Rights
Bill. She informed us that the Health Committee will hear proponent
testimony for HB 188 on Tuesday, November 5th. Committee will begin at 11:00
AM in Statehouse Room 116. She asked for us to have a written version of
our testimony to her by Thursday, October 31, and she would make sure it
would be submitted.
There has been new leadership in the Health Committee. Here is how the
testimony should be addressed:
