Good Morning,
It is that time of year again. As you have all seen, Richard is telling us to now prepare for our 2020 NFB of Ohio State Convention! This means that all of you should be going online and registering, and it also means that it is time to start preparing to recognize those chapters, divisions, and individuals that have gone out of their way to do the work of the Federation. So this year’s Awards Committee is pleased to now be providing you with this year’s awards materials. Attached you will find instructions for submitting the gavel questionaires, and for submitting nomination letters for deserving individuals for our consideration, plus copies of the questionaires themselves. Please begin working on these right away so that they can be completed and submitted by the October 1 deadline. This year, we hope to receive gavel submissions from all chapters and divisions. Also, if you have any questions about the process or the forms, please reach out to any of our committee members. We will be happy to help.
We are getting very excited for this year’s convention, and are looking forward to showing off the work of our chapters, divisions, and individuals who go that extra mile to make this affiliate the strong and active part of the NFB that it is.
Let’s go build the Federation!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not what defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.
