Well, since I am a blind vendor and I do not sell things cheaply, I decided I was going to raise the price of my virtual M&Ms to $1.50 a pack. That is what I sell them for out of my vending machines, and I didn’t think I should make any lists for the national Federation of the blind of Ohio. Therefore, I just use the donate button on our website to send $72 to our affiliate.

During the Ohio caucus at the national convention many of us pledged to send money to the affiliate as if we sold candy at the convention. Today I finally put a check in the mail for $50. I was hungry despite the virtual candy, and  I am hungrier after departing with $50. If I worked at Syncrany Financial, I wouldn’t feel the pain. But, I am just a government employee. I am proud to be a part of this affiliate however, and that is why I made the contribution. I hope that if you made the same pledge you got your money to Sherry faster than I have. If not, I hope you will do so soon.
